Hypnosis is a state of very deep relaxation induced by a hypnotherapist. By accessing the subconscious mind the patient can access their own creative healer, retrace certain inhibitions, reprogramme patterns and work with pain relief. It is an excellent way to access our inner potential, unlocking creativity and solutions we only guessed we might have. It is not just potential which hypnotherapy is well placed to address, but also our own inner healing resources which enable us to effect beneficial change in our lives. Hypnotherapy can help with a wide range of problems, including stress, anxiety, panic, phobias, unwanted habits and addictions e.g. smoking, overeating, difficulties with sleep, lack of confidence, allergies, migraines, fear of public speaking or exams and irritable bowel syndrome. During the first session time would be spent gathering information from the patient about the nature of your concern. Goals for therapy are discussed and agreed.
